Parker Balt:
When I look through my camera lens, I don't like to focus on single things in an image. The way something can interact with the scene that surrounds it is more interesting to me than A single subject with a blurred background. I don't usually like to have my subjects pose or have to adjust them and instead like to take the beauty of their nature and match it with the scene.

With this final project I wanted to try something completely new, I had my friend set up in the same pose in the same outfit with the same magazine. The only difference was the places we were in, I wanted to see what story I could create with him in different locations. I'd like to see how I could incorporate this idea with other projects, having random strangers sit in the same chair and see what happens? The idea of this project was to make it seem out of place, none of the scenes I set were in an area where you would see a person doing what he is doing.

Letting your subject set up their own photo is what I like, to have them pose how they like and act how they would normally is what I want. I like to display who these people are instead of displaying “an act”. Having a person smile how they want and acting goofy on camera is better than a serious face, The goofy fun side of a person is something I want to display.
