In the midst of times of uncertainty and shifting habits, there is a heightened demand for revolutionary ideas to be brought to the table. C3, standing for Creating Culinary Communities, acts as an answer to that call. A subsidiary of SBE Entertainment, C3 introduces to the world a never-before-seen approach to ghost kitchens and mobile delivery. It acts as an incubator of limited service culinary brands, comprised of both new concepts and evolutions of established, full-service SBE restaurants.

To support this idea, SBE needed a brand voice. To express C3’s ideas of community, innovation, and embodiment of culinary artistry, but also SBE’s deep heritage and class. The final look emulates a chef’s signature to mark the artistry and craft present in each restaurant concept. A hand-scrawled “C3” is paired with a rich chef’s blue and a grotesque/geometric sans-serif typeface that is simultaneously contemporary and historic.
