This triptych was inspired by the story of Narcissus; the boy who fell in love with his own reflection. The daffodils featured on the paintings are also known as the Narcissus flower as they are often found growing around water; here they have been created in chalk pastels over a background of acrylic paint and plaster of Paris on board.
