We can only contain COVID-19 if everyone is united in the effort.
The most disturbing part of the virus is that no one is safe and it persists to stay. What it causes to the body is devastating. The demise of anyone I've come to know is shocking. It makes me question, how they were not taking care of themselves? The bare minimum we can do is to wear a mask, keep the distance, be aware of how and where it spreads and try to be immune to it. That's our strength until the vaccines are out.
Good masks and PPEs are not in everyone's reach and what maximum people are wearing can be ineffective, if they are in the proximity of the virus. Still, wearing a mask is way safer than no mask. Then there is the handling of the mask after use and cleaning/washing yourself and the mask right. These precautions are known but are seemingly missed by many.
This poster is a contribution as a designer to aware people, to be united in the effort and to push others to do the same, because the virus is still at the center of our lives. Going out, enjoying the day and working is okay but only when we've safeguarded ourselves.
Wearing mask, being aware, and keeping the distance is the best way we can provide help and relief to doctors and others working day and night to fight the surge in COVID-19 cases.
