We were tasked with employing 3 different Photoshop effects from our textbook to our photos we took last week. I've labeled the effects below with the respective photos.

HOLLYWOOD FX

I didn't like this effect at all. I think I went way to overboard on the vibrancy and the lighting effect was just too much.

DESIGNER'S CHOICE FX

I went with my own combination of effects here. I gave the wood a grayscale adjustment layer and gave all the materials and components color, adding a little more focus on the materials I use improving the composition. 

I combined the Hollywood effect with the Designer's Choice effect for this composition. I'm overall unsure of the Hollywood effect and will probably remove it later if I include this in a portfolio piece. The badass effects in the textbook were alright but I think it promotes a style I tend to stray away from. It always seems overedited. I like the grayscale/colored composition the most I think. I included my branding to make this a self-promo postcard.
