Wildebook. Discovering nature in Ulten Valley.

Editorial project developed during the product design course “Up and down and round again” of the Free University of Bolzano.

The Wilde Book is an illustrated book for children aged 6-10 that tells the story of the Wilde Mann, a mythical human creature of the legends of the Ulten Valley (South Tyrol, Italy), who lives in the forests and survives thanks to their infallible instinct. It is a story about the relationship between human and nature divided into chapters, each of which contains an activity to do. The book contains blank pages to complete, drawings to colour and missing words to discover during a path in the mountain starting from the upstream station of the cable car system. Throughout the path some installations help the children to complete the blank parts. Accompanied by the Wilde Mann's story children are asked to observe, touch, listen, smell and feel nature during a beautiful excursion.
