Ultimate Frizbee

My portrait photo is of my roomate in the Olan quad, playing Ultimate Frizbee.
For my editing, I first cropped the picture for the rule of thirds. Then I increased the brightness and constrast a bit, and increased the saturation to make him a bit less pale and bring out the color in his shirt. Finally I used the spot healing brush to clean up his face a bit and make it less dark.
My landscape shot is a picture of the quad we were playing ultimate frizbee in. I liked this picture because not only does it show the quad, but it also has a very clear shot of the frizbee on mid-air.
For my edit, I decided to make the picture black and white. I also brightened up the picture a bit, to help constrast the black and white once I applied it.
My detail image is a close up of our frisbees laying on the ground in the Olan quad. The photo interested me because I was able to see the mulch on the ground very clearly, while getting a good shot as the frisbees.
For my edits, I first cropped the picture for the rule of thirds. Then I used the spot healing brush to touch up some marks on the frisbees. After that, I increased the contrast and lowered the brightness, so make the mulch and colors stand out more while lowering the glare.
For my freeze-frame/action shot, I have my friend Hope throwing the frizzbe. I liked this show because I was able to get a good blur on her arm, showing the movement.
For my edits I cropped the picture for rule of thirds and decreased the brightness and contrast to lower the glare and light. Then I increased the saturation to bring back the color I lost.
For my rule of thirds photo I have my roomates Dustin in a dramtic pose, ready to let frizbees fly!
For my edits, I first cropped the picture for rule of thirds. Then I increased the brightness and hue so that the details of the tree in back could be seen.
For my symetry photo, I choose one of our frizbees being thrown onto a bench. I found it funny that they landed pretty symetrically, so I choose this one.
For my edits, I played increased the contrast and brightness to dim the picture and make the bench stand out more. I also increased the saturation a bit to make the mulch seem brighter.
