On the occasion of the seventh centenary of Dante Alighieri's death recurring in 2021, I wanted to publish this personal editorial project about the first cantica of The Divine Comedy illustrated by the famous French engraver and illustrator Gustave Doré. A personal tribute to these two figures who respectively influenced the world culture.
