To be able to dream up a character and see them take shape on a blank page has to be my favourite means of creative expression. Some children grow up drawing the monsters and mermaids of their imaginations and others learn by drawing from reference images and objects around the house. I was one of the kids who loved capturing a moment as photorealistically as possible. But when I was introduced to the world of vector illustration, it's as though I learnt a new language. Having always drawn with a pencil on paper, this practice revealed how much fun it is to play with shapes on a digital canvas. Some of the characters I've imagined in recent years have been translated into poster prints, and are available to order. Print enquiries can be sent to me here: hello@littlelatsky.com
