We invoked the feel of a "Wanted" poster which also informed the person looking at it how dangerous the psycho killer was in our poster for our newspaper ads.
Creative Countdown
Through the official social media pages, we created hype for the teaser by counting down the days to the release of the teaser. Since, the movie was a mystery thriller we also hid clues about the movie within the poster itself.
Our creative posters included clues about the movie even within the blood spatters. For example, the blood spatter in the below posters show the map of Coimbatore, where the story of the movie is based on.

Song Release
To make anything trend on social media it needs to be shared and liked. We made “unna nenachu” song go viral on social media organically by creating a contest asking the contestants to just cover and share the song online.
We locked in on the target audience for Mysskins movies and targeted specific locations across the city to place posters and other movie related paraphernalia to create hype for the movie

As the teaser and trailer hit milestones on YouTube we designed posters to commemorate it.

Memes were integral to creating a grassroots hype for the movie, we worked in collaboration with popular meme pages to create funny meme able content from the movie to keep the hype alive for the movie, pre and post release.
