I'm happy to show you my t-shirt design for the 100th anniversary of VKHUTEMAS.
"Higher Art and Technical Studios" was the Russian state art and technical school founded in 1920 in Moscow.
2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Higher art and technical workshops in Moscow-the main creative Institute of the country that defined the path of design education in Russia in the XX century.

I chose a portrait of a Russian artist to develop the design Varvara Fyodorovna Stepanova (1894 – 1958). With her husband Alexander Rodchenko, she was associated with the Constructivist branch of the Russian avant-garde, which rejected aesthetic values in favour of revolutionary ones. Her activities extended into propaganda, poetry, stage scenery and textile designs.
