LEAFLET REDESIGN
ice cream shop leaflet
in this project I redesigned the leaflet of an ice cream shop in Venice. i really liked the vibe of their original leaflet, so I kept the design easy-going, carefree and friendly touch. i did change a few things, like the typeface and the pictures. also i added playful, nonfigurative shapes. I changed the color palette from a mustard-yellow to a sweet pink color.
i used vector graphics to create the little pictograms inside the leaflet, and also to do the stylized map. my goal was to make a simple, but sweet piece of paper that people gladly save for memories from a place. also it was important to catch the eyes and set the mood.
baby pink is unconsciously paired with sweetness, so that would be a good color for an ice ceam shop. however, elegance and playfulness also come together to tone the sweet pinkness and make the leaflet look more professional.
