Photo has been taken in 2013 during Geology field practice in Ukraine.
I asked our driver, Oleg:
- What is this car?
- "Volga" - he answered with melancholy, nodding his head.
I supposed it was Volga, but I've never seen this car before.
It was a dream car in the days of the USSR unavailable for the average citizen. It was a luxury vehicle intended for dignitaries.
However, it looks sad when it stays somewhere, maybe forgotten and most likely it is not moving...
