In 2020, the world collectively hit pause. During that time, first-time author, Kayleigh Sorel asked me to illustrate a book about becoming a new parent during this time.​​​​​​​

Since the pandemic was a global event that we could all relate to, I decided to illustrate the story in a busy city (cough cough New York) with lots of people and from their different perspectives.

This allowed me to create a range of diverse families and make the book as inclusive as possible so anyone could read this to their child and find their family in there.
