除夕
除夕大家都知道是年三十，那麼但從字面上來理解，除夕是什麼意思呢？除夕的「除」可以理解為除舊迎新的意思。那麼「夕」字怎麼理解呢？「夕」的本意是日落，也指半晚時分。但是這裡顯然不能這樣理解。傳說「夕」是一種上古時期的凶獸，每年歲末都會出現在人間，為禍一方。後來經仙人指點，知道「夕」害怕紅色、火光和巨大的聲響。於是在年終歲尾人們就會點燃篝火，敲敲打打整夜不睡的守候，果然「夕」剛一出現就被嚇跑了。後來人們為了慶賀就有了除夕的傳統流傳下來。
•雖然這是傳說，但是這也從側面反映了當時人們的生活環境，除夕一代代發展演變，現在的除夕已經是一個吉祥喜慶的節日，人們為了慶祝新一年的到來，還有很多活動，祭祖、貼春聯、吃年夜飯等等。當然在過節的時候我們也會遵循一些傳統，以免新一年就觸霉頭
