Phase 01 & Phase 02 | Artwork contribution
Nảy Mầm project was initiated by artist Trần Nguyễn Trung Tín (@Tinsideout). It started in 2019 with around 100 artworks by 88 artists with media ranging from illustration, graphic design, graphic novel, papercutting to comic strip, sculpture or animation.
The project was launched with the aim to enhance the awareness of people going green to save the environment as well as human themselves. Each work created is equivalent to growing a plant before exhibition, which means every artist has to grow a tree alongside creation. This might not bring the expected effectiveness but hell yeah, we are just trying our best. By this approach and viewpoints from various artists, we expect to encourage community to get used to planting. The tiny seeds from each individual can also together put tiny impacts on the society that is emotionless towards the environment in danger.
In Nảy Mầm Project - Phase 01, I made two contributions but only show my favorite one Raven Down Da Roses.

No matter how majestic and beautiful the nature is, it will gradually fade away and wither to exhaustion with the influence from human. Warm colors are used in the work to awaken viewers to the endangered state of nature. We live and grow up thanks to the fertility of the ecosystem, but when that fertile cradle is dying, those tiny individuals, who are parasitizing in every blood vessel of the nature, are emotionless and forget the origin of life.

Nảy Mầm Project - Phase 2 started in 2020 with the theme of children and plants, enlarged from the first one about plants only. Participants can choose one aspect (either about children or about plants) or both to elaborate in their creations. In addition to the first-phase purpose, we wish to make fund raising for forest and support the education for children this time. In my work, I particularly chose to "talk" about nature.

There will be one day when nature needs time to reset, when human becomes the nurtition for this process. Seeds grow up from the nutrients extracted from human body buried underground, on a large extent. No more vast destruction, no more continuous industrial waste, no more trading, no more war and no more human.
The earth is all set up again, for the new biological journey.
