The Inspiration for collage comes from the film „The Dreamers“ (2003) and the Illustrations from George Barbier (1882-1932).
Out of fear for the frightening outside world, the character lives only in his own cosmo. In his world he is a flapper, a symbol of liberation in the Golden Twenties. The background are pictures of carnivorous plants, a metaphor for the outside world.

The collages use different types of papers, printed photographs, and illustrated lines and shapes, creating different dimensions and textures. Transparent films are stapled only at two corners to create interactions between collages and viewers, in which the viewers can discover the naked photographs of the character underneath the illustrated flappers' clothes on the film.
