Classical Elements
a motion graphics personal project
This is a personal project mainly done with the purpose to develop my skills in the field of motion design.
It brings to us a simple and flat animated presentation of the classical elements. They are concepts proposed to explain the nature and complexity of all matter in terms of simpler substances. This case, where we present Fire, Water, Air, and Earth, is referred to the ancient Greece. Nevertheless, throughout other ancient cultures we may found different approaches of the basic elements. A well known approach is the Chinese Wu Xing system where Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water are represented by their respective Chinese characters and are described more as energies than types of material.
