A project in partnership with Vivel by ITC aims to bring out how gender stereotyping can be avoided at a young age by setting the right example at home via her work titled 'Unconditioning Begins at Home'.
There is a need to raise children outside pre-defined gender roles to contribute to minds independent of gender stereotypes. The artwork depicts multiple examples that break away from the common notion of what a girl child should do VS a boy, reinforcing the importance of rejecting gender roles because they stand for nothing.
Relationships often silently bespeak gender roles and stereotypes. The artwork titled 'Equally Ever After' abolishes benevolent sexism and antiquated rules that say men should be the providers. It instead vouches for relationships based on shared responsibilities.
