The series consists mainly of the image of the creation of the goddess Devi Kalika. In Indian Hindu mythology, Kali is a goddess in appearance with the destroyer of evil forces to protect the innocent. She is the most potent form of shakti and also a different way of mother goddess Parvati. Over time, she has been worshipped by devotional movements and tantric sects as the divine mother, mother of the universe, adi shakti, or power of origin. She is also seen as the heavenly protector. Devi Kalika is often portrayed standing or dancing on her consort, the Hindu god Shiva, who lies calm and prostrate beneath her. Hindus worship her throughout India as a mother goddess. Here the sculpture of Devi is prepared and ready for honor. The ten sets of images are documented the entire preparation and decoration of the clay structure, just like the creation of god or mother.
