Once accepted, members are placed into smaller project

groups. Katie is a member of the ‘Paper Boat Café’ team,

which centers around setting up a tea specialising café

to generate revenue for Enactus’ other projects. Katie

is a key member of Marketing sub-team. Her role in this

smaller team has been to assist in compiling a survey to

research tea drinking habits among university students.

and to a high standard. She is articulate, and attended

every team meeting, where she enthusiastically discussed

ideas with the rest of the team.

 

Having worked many years in Hospitality, Katie has a

wide understanding about how the operations of cafes

work. Katie is a talented graphic design student who

created the logo for our project. The design is attractive

and professional, and unanimously accepted by the team.

In addition, she has thought of the vision for our point

of-sale stall, including the use of eco-friendly materials,

which is in line with our socially driven goal.

 

Katie’s hard-working and affable nature is an asset to the

Paper Boat Team.

 

There are no areas for concern regarding Katie. It has

been lovely having her as part of the Paper Boat team.
