Clip Studio Paint was holding an art competition with a sky, clouds, and stars theme. And as a lover of all things related to the beauty of the sky, I decided to participate.
During the brainstorming process for this piece, I went to Alishan(阿里山) in Taipei where I lived and went stargazing with my family. It was so magical, as a city person it was the first time I'd seen a full night sky of stars in my life. As soon as I got home I immediately changed the sketch from this 3rd image to the final drawing below. Whenever I see this piece again I am just reminded of the beauty I saw that night.
