There are tons of books and detailed information about Classic myths in Korea while there are not enough about ancient Egyptian myths. The fact is that ancient Egyptian civilization influences the world's history in many ways. The origin of Classic myths also come from some parts of Egyptian civilization. But accurate data about gods of Egyptian myths lacks to learn. Learning about Egyptian myths can be helpful to have an eye for the world. This project is an interactive application which helps elementary school students to get to know about Egyptian myths easily. Learning about Egyptian gods through the ancient wall painting can be a new experience, instead of learning by rote. EGOS introduces ancient Egyptian myths that used to be not familiar and difficult to school students with interest.
국내의 그리스 로마 신화에 대한 서적은 다양하고 인지도가 높은 반면, 고대 이집트 신화에 대한 문헌 및 자료는 상대적으로 적고 인지도 또한 낮습니다.
그리스 문명이 미술, 문화, 건축 등 현대 문명의 시초가 되었기 때문입니다. 하지만 사실상 그리스 로마 신화는 고대 이집트 문명에서 기원되었습니다.
EGOS는 동물이 모티브가 된 이집트 신을 통해 고대 이집트 신화를 쉽고 재미있게 학습할 수 있는 교육용 어플리케이션입니다.
초등학생들은 EGOS를 통해 고대 이집트 역사와 문명을 배움으로써 세계 역사에 관한 지식의 폭을 넓힐 수 있습니다.
