Europe seen by Gulf Arab Students
This catalogue comprises 55 photos of landscapes, architectural features and people taken in the countries of the European Union by nationals of Gulf Cooperation Council countries who have been invited to submit personal photos of landscapes, architectural features and people (taken during their time as students at schools or universities in one of the countries of the European Union) to the Photo Competition "Europe seen by Gulf Arab Students" organised in the context of Europe's Day celebrations in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, in May 2013, by the Delegation of the European Union to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kingdom of Bahrain, State of Kuwait, Sultanate of Oman, State of Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities. The winning photos have been selected by Mrs Thuraya Al-Baqsami (Kuwait) and Mr Abdulnasser Gharem (Saudi Arabia), two of the most celebrated contemporary artists from the Gulf region.

يضم هذا الكتالوج 55 صورة لمناظر طبيعية، وملامح معمارية واشخاص، التقطت في دول الاتحاد الأوروبي من قبل مواطني مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية والذين تمت دعوتهم لعرض صور شخصية لمناظر طبيعية، ومعالم معمارية واشخاص (تم إلتقاطهاا خلال فترة اقامتهم كطلاب في مدارس أو جامعات إحدى دول الأتحاد الأوروبي) في مسابقة التصوير " أوروبا كما يراها طلاب دول الخليج العربية " والتي تم تنظيمها في إطار إحتفالات اليوم الأوروبي في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي في شهر مايو 2013، من قبل مندوبية الاتحاد الأوروبي لدى المملكة العربية السعودية، ومملكة البحرين، ودولة الكويت، وسلطنة عمان، ودولة قطر، والامارات العربية المتحدة في إطار الشركة مع وزارة الثقافة والاعلام في المملكة العربية السعودية و الهيئة العامة للسياحة والآثار. وقد تم اختيار الصور الفائزة من قبل اثنان من أكثر الفنانين المعاصرين شهرة من منطقة الخليج و هما السيدة ثريا البقصمي (الكويت) والسيد عبد الناصر غارم (المملكة العربية السعودية ).
