San Michali Restaurant
Situated in the city centre of Ermoupolis, Syros island in Greece, San Michali restaurant offers Greek traditional recipes whith a touch of fusion, from the best possible Greek ingredients. The restaurant recently moved from the village of San Michali in Syros to the town center. The new restaurant's brand is well inspired from the village of San Michali, a wonderland village situated away from everything and everyone, where time stops. The village is characterized as a place of natura, filled with herbs and animals. Going down the road during night time it's possible to spot rabbits all through the road leading the way.
The idea for the brand came through the well known book of Lewis Carroll "Alice in Wonderland" where Alice followed the white rabbit leading her to Wonderland. We chose a rather funny and sketched rabbit for the logotype, dressed in a suit. The colours chosen are rather earthy colors, as the restaurants food has mainly to do with ground vegetables, aged meat, handmade cold cuts and open fire techniques.
