INITIATIVES PRIZE
at Moscow Sovremennik Theatre
Kommersant decided to abandon the classic presentation of awards with the announcement of the winners and speeches of thanks. Instead, the guests were offered a performance that combined video art, costumes and scenography, music and modern dance. A total of 21 prizes were awarded in four categories: "Culture", "Ecology", "Charity and social responsibility" and "Personal contribution". We decided that performers, men and women, should look the same, identical, since everyone is equally worthy of the award. We do not see their faces under the mask, because the mask is a metaphorical personification of their good deeds.
