About the project

Text is one of the most important tools for interacting with people. It can cause a storm of feelings, both positive and negative, induce a dialogue or purchase. Any speech you hear on TV, radio or from your favorite blogger on social media — is originally prepared by text. A copywriter is a magician who owns this tool. Once I was lucky to collaborate with one of them. As a result we created a website. The customer's requirements were as follows:
1. The main goal was to present the portfolio beautifully and functionally.
2. It was desirable to make an easy-to-read price list.
3. Preferably minimalistic design.
4. The customer wanted to use the Wix constructor for the layout.


Beginning of work

We approved the site structure with the customer. I did a competitor analysis: direct - personal sites of other copywriters and indirect - sites of freelance exchanges. I also identified the problematic parts of the websites:
1. You often needed to make more than 3 clicks to find the price in the price list. It was very inconvenient and tedious.
2. The first pages of several sites were overloaded with information, which scattered attention and distracted from the purpose of site visiting.
3. Several sites were executed without proper use of typography. There was only text and it was not clear where one section ended and another began.
4. There was no clear range of copywriter services on freelance exchanges. After I had decided on the future site concept, I started creating a wireframe.
