Graphic Design by Lie Versnaeyen
James Sidney Edouard, Baron Ensor (13 April 1860 – 19 November 1949) was a Belgian painter and printmaker, an important influence on expressionism and surrealism who lived in Ostend for almost his entire life.
To create a suitable flyer it was important, that I studied his work. My first observation was the beautiful composition and the use of bright colors. I chose to create a folder with matching shades and graceful ornaments, that could also be found in the many carpets that were hung up in the Ensor House.
