Editorial illustration for The New Republic magazine. This illustration is about town in China, Aba. For 5 years now it has been without internet due to riots in 2008 that cut off communications. Half of the city is prospering, developing, and the bottom one is without internet - sad, unhappy, people can't communicate with themselves.
