“The Digital Disruption of Death” was an enormous research and design project for my studio this semester. The book acts as a compendium of everything to do with death in the digital age, and a learning tool for those interested in the topic.
A big part of the design was creating an easy to use navigation system throughout the book, done through distinctive sections, and navigational footnotes that help the reader find exactly what they’re looking for, and everything it links to within the book.
While it may not be the most adventurous or beautiful design, the book is full of purposes and information.
