Welcome to the Jungle is the multichannel media company that aims to inspire every  individual to thrive in their professional lives.

We propose a wide variety of high-quality content (articles, videos, series, podcasts, magazines or events) to help young professionals rethink their relationship with work.

We have also created a content-rich website with 3000+ detailed company profiles – including photos, videos, and statistics (number of employees, gender, average age) – making valuable job search information accessible for prospective candidates.

This is a lot of information to display on a single app. Our main dilemma was, is the media more interesting for the mobile format or is it the job board?

We started by defining 3 personas we know use our product.

Next we decided to ask questions around, to people from the company, our friends, students looking for their first jobs, older people, product managers, journalists, big city active people and countryside workers.

The purpose of these interviews was to gather information and identify what functionalities people would use more on an app.

After combining every answer we got, we created a map of the pages from the website we thought best suited for the app, and the exclusive functionalities provided by the phone.

With all these informations we created a navigation menu for the app with a custom homepage, a company search page, a job search page, and notifications…

…finally on your profile page you will find your applications and the details of the job offer.
