Coffee time!
Some time ago I animated this intro for a video about reducing sugar consumption, where I combined character animation in After Effects, some motion graphics and an animated splash in Toon Boom harmony, frame by frame. Here below I share with you a little of the process:
INTRO:
First of all, I took this beautiful Storyboard made by the colleague and great illustrator Agustín Paillet, before working on the keyframes:
Then I made an animatic for the intro:
Then I made some rigs, brought from Adobe Illustrator and started thinking how to solve the scenes, from these model sheets an styleframes:
With that rough animation, it was time for the splash! I set to work on Toon Boom Harmony:
Then, I worked on the character animation in After Effects:
Some changes of expresions:
Finally, I animated all the scenes, including some motion graphics and all the composition of the piece. Here I share some of them:
