This joint piece project is for a theme im working on looking at an idea. 
How the Recession has ultimately made people fear for the future and thinks about the quote of having "to hide in the shadows" as the credit crunch strikes. The image below was taken from another project of mine, "We Are One With The Shadows Pt. 2" (see link) http://www.behance.net/gallery/We-Are-One-With-The-Shadows-Pt-2/9866751 and edited to create the starting self portrait image.
The aim of this ongoing body of work was to create pieces that had a modern aesthetic to match the contemporary theme and so chose to look at Street Art.
 
To continue from these previous "We Are.." projects, I first decided to create a drawing as a starting point to represent this theme, but felt to create more realism so it isnt so flat and also add more feeling and texture in it as well rather than create a direct copy and the following images show the progression as the drawing was created.

For the second part of this project, I decided to create some stencil prints in response to my starting image, but felt to go for the more solid look and so are shown through the remainder of the project.
