Bul / Piano Banda UltraLarga
The public network BUL is created by Open Fiber within the framework of the
BUL 2015-2020 plan, and has the objective to create an ultra-broadband network on the whole national territory. The Ministry of Economic Development implements the measures defined for the national strategy also through its internal company Infratel Italia S.p.a.
This strategy aims to reduce the existing infrastructure and market gap in some areas of the country, to set social and geographical inequalities generated from the absence of private initiative by companies and therefore allow greater social and territorial cohesion through access to the media via the ultra-broadband network.
