SMASH IT! I was commissioned to create a teaser poster for the short film "Subscribe" produced by The Fold, a production company based out of Orem, Utah. The director asked if I could channel an "70s/80's slasher vibe." I couldn't wait to get started! Iconic horror posters like John Carpenter's original "Halloween" or "The Thing" immediately came to mind. I wanted similar striking imagery for this story about a young girl pursued by a shovel-wielding maniac with only a YouTube video as her means of defense. Here is the final artwork I submitted. I had a bit of fun mocking it up as a well-loved VHS case also (special thanks to Aimee Cozza for the mockup template).
