stena is a collection of mouth-blown carafes by Juliana Maurer. The carafes combine stone and glass. The individual shape of the carafes is created during glassblowing, when the flowing glass nestles around the angular contours of the stone. The logo refers to the combination of the two materials, the small N looks like a break in the middle of the word and refers to the edges of the stone enclosed by the carafe.
