“I distinctly remember, the very sight of her felt unreal to me. And for a single moment, I completely abandoned a very profound yet familiar fear of mine.”
“What is this fear that causes you such discomposure?”
“The fear of losing her. Knowing that she deserves the world, and that I would never be able to give it to her. The fear of knowing that there may be someone out there who could. The chaos that is my thoughts, embodies a voice in my head reminding me every single day as it envelopes me completely”
“Do you believe that this is how it’s supposed to be?”
“When it comes to these untamed feelings of love, it does. It consumes you whole, you can feel yourself burning and melting for them at the same time. Either way, you lose yourself in them, falling deeper and deeper into this chasm. Watching yourself through rose-tinted glasses, in reflections of past love, with almost nothing changed.”
“But how did you know you were in love?”
“Well, I believe it’s different for everybody. There isn’t any way of knowing how and when it happens. I have been in different kinds of love with different people, but with all of them something felt as if it were missing, not with her. When everything else seemed insignificant but her, that’s when I knew.”
