After planning for a few years, I could finally dedicate some time on a backpacking trip through South America in 2014. The idea was to cross Chile, from Patagonia to the Atacama desert, visiting a few other countries whenever possible, and documenting the beautiful landscapes on my path. Travelling by myself for a couple of months with no fixed schedule and limited budget, I went on to visit some of the world most amazing places and get to know and experience different cultures.
