No Seven Hills of Istanbul

What Istanbul would look like with all the buldings in the same position yet on an horizontal plane and whether the view would be as appealing from a ferry as it is now?
Istanbul is one of the most famous cities with seven hills title, following after the seven hills of Rome. You fall in love how landmarks of the city are being carried by other buildings around them when you see it on a ferry ride between Asia and Europe continents. Yet, you realise that the buildings that looks like carrying the landmarks are actually that attractive, even ugly sometimes. This is the reason why I started to questioned, what Istanbul would look like with all the buldings in the same position yet on an horizontal plane and whether the view would be as appealing from a ferry as it is now?
While Galata area is one of the most photographed parts of the Istanbul from a ferry ride in today's Istanbul, It looks very unattractive if it lays on an horizontal plane. 69 meters tall Galata Tower is almost covered by the blind sides of the modern era office buildings.
Horizontal Galata from the Bosphorous coast of the Historical Peninsula.
Horizantal Hagia Sophia area from the Marmara Sea.
Sülleymaniye Mosque is behind of the rooftop cafes of horizontal Eminönü.
