Definitions - visual identity (*this identity is not being used by Definitions)
Definitions is a danish software- and automationcompany helping the industrial sector optimizing their workflow through robotics.
As a school project my group and I was tasked to make a visual identity for Definitions.
The logo
The aim was to stand out as more modern and youthful compared to the competitors while still remaining an image of reliability and competence.
The DEFI letters was inspired by the 1's and 0's used in programming and the circles should also represent the joints of robotic arms with the rest of the letterforms being those arms moving around the joints.
Colors, fonts & 5th element
The logo uses a gradient consisting of two blue colors to express youth, technology and business but the gradient makes it stand out from the competitors.
The font Quasimoda is simple and easy to read and emphasizes the reliability and transparency of the company.
The 5th element is made up of the DEFI letters shuffled around to show flexibility and creative problemsolving and creates coherence between all of Definitions' material.
