Captive
This was a part of a media design project that i was asked to do in the university as a task to test our skills in manual photography with creatures who aren't normally still, however going through this project made me realise how much i disliked zoos as they are literal prisons for these animals holding them in small spaces and having them pace back and forth for long periods is inhumane.
The pictures all have something in common, it's how much longing these animals have in their eyes to the outside world or what is beyond the cages they are in.
The chained cages here depicted how much out of place these animals were, metaphorically speaking something was out of the picture. Imagine these pictures without the cages or the chains it would make much more sense.
