For Milton Glaser's class at SVA, we were asked to select a musician and pair the selection with an artist that reminds us of the music. We then were asked to design an album cover based on that artist's style.
I chose Florence & the Machine and automatically saw the resemblance between the lead singer and Klimt's depiction of women. Using gold-leaf patterns and hand-lettering I designed the album cover below.
