Choosing “angst” and “peace” as the key individual words for this lighting project, we decided to bring in the idea of Naturalism versus Pictorialism to contrast between, or maybe to assimilate, human’s psychological tension and nature’s soothingness.
Light then becomes a way to express the deeper poetic truth. No matter what that truth turns out to be, the inner battle goes on.
