The concept for this series was to reverse engineer the aesthetic of Aesop and build upon it in Cinema 4D with Octane, aiming to achieve something teetering the line between photo realism and something slightly altered, or muted in such a way that it would be consistent with the brands calming mood.
This meant dialling down reflections and playing with variations of backlighting products to alter what might be the default information received in a photograph and taking it somewhere slightly different in subtle ways.
