Sehar - Experimental Jamdani Saris 
 A Festive collection inspired by the grand phenomenon of sunrise.

The entire collection is a set of 16 saris, each depicting the sunrise in its different stages. Starting from light breaking on the horizon, with stars still visible in the night sky, the slowly rising and the colour of the sky changing from an inky black to a fresh light blue. 

Saris in silk cotton and Matka silk with silver and gold zari and Jamdani motifs.
The following are a few pieces from the collection 
A red of the sun bleeds into a soft blue. The Silhouttes of birds flying over mountains and the endless canvas of sky.
The first hints of blue break through an endless golden sky. 
Matka silk stripes with delicate zari details.
Bright day, a gorgeous light blue sky with the proud, radiant sun peaking through from behind the clouds. 
Delicate silk cotton stripes with a Large meticulously crafted sun, flowing from red to yellow.
The radiant sun, surrounded by soft fluffy clouds, dancing on a bright blue sky, dotted with small white clouds. 
Silk cotton with a large graphic Jamdani motif.

(above) (below) The light of the sun reflected on the Ganga as it rises from behind the hills. Filling both the sky and the water with golden rays of light. 
Matka silk in blue, orange and black with delicate zari stripes throughout. A beautiful large, Jamdani motif of the sun coming up from behind the mountains.
Dawn breaking over the horizon. The red light of the sun slowly growing, turning the dark black of the night into bright day.
Multicolour Matka silk in stripes and gradients, featuring a large Jamdani mountain motif at the base of the pallu.
Soft, delicate white clouds playfully drifting across the bright blue sky.
Light blue Matka silk with reverse Jamdani motifs all over the sari.
