Luxol Handball Club offers the opportunity for individuals of all ages, regardless of their beliefs, nationality and gender to participate in the game of handball. It works to enable its members in reaching their maximum potential. Luxol Handball Club vows to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and motivated to reach greater fulfilment in their walk of life.

The Brief
To create a new logo that is timeless & current. The newly designed logo and overall visual identity should represent & communicate the soul, passion & drive that ‘Luxol Handball Club’ is known for when it comes to the local sports industry.
Colour
The colour purple, which is present in the old logo, has been kept alive through the new identity as it corresponds with attributes that ‘Luxol Handball Club’ would like to be associated with.
The Logo
The logo is a monogram and takes the form of an emblem. It has been re-designed in a way as to correspond to today’s trends, while also keeping in mind it's versatility . A logo should not describe. It should Identify
Typeface
The typefaces used for the logo and the visual identity are Gotham Bold & Gotham Book. These two sans serif typefaces are legible & bold, suiting well the newly designed identity.
Launch Campaign
Prior to launch, a 7 day countdown campaign was created to build up hype, curiosity and suspense amongst the target audience before the new logo reveal. The campaign took the form of posts & stories, specifically designed was for Facebook & Instagram.
Application in Real Life Scenarios
Once the logo was designed, it was time to give it life. Where is the mark most likely to feature?Where will the audience such as Luxol supporters & the general public come across the new logo & visual identity?
