This project is based on work that I did for my friends. This is small firm founded by two student girls (friends of mine), and their idea was to sell homemade cupcakes and cakes online. They started small business from their home, all marketing was done by online, via social networks, and they made leaflets which they distributed in local shops and their friends workplaces. Every order was custom made according to customers desires, and deliver to their address. Business was doing well, they even got connected with some catering companies and coffee shops, started to plan expansion, but sadly they stop working because of covid 19.
Initially I designed logo, few leaflets and some banners for social networks. As they started thinking about expansion, they asked me to elaborate entire brand idea. Because of that I started working on some seasonal promotions, packaging and brochure, sadly we didn't have time use most of this, but it was really fun project.
Clients wanted something vivid, fun, give me all creative freedom I wanted. Their only conditions was to have cupcake in logo, and to use turquoise as one of the main colors.
My first step was to create logo, I had few ideas and ended up with mixture of all of them.

I designed two different Z fold brochures. Both of them have same style, one thing client wanted was to incorporate turquoise color in their brand so I chose it to be on of two main colors for their promo materials (and packaging). Because they wanted cheerful tone I chose this comic book design with different pop art characters (these are all stock resources not mine designs).
Brochures are similar in style difference is that first one show different possibilities you might need clients products (parties, weddings, holidays...) and second one is show different products they have with short description about prices and ordering details. All pictures and text are easy to edit.
Because their offer was custom for every client there was no need to create detail menu section for individual product.
