Salmon stories
I am interested in mixing traditional illustration techniques and After Effects power. These pictures I've made using ink, pencils and collage techniques. I've created different parts as layers, one above another, then scanned it and prepared for animation.
Salmon fishes, beautiful and strong, inspired me. I saw a video about how they swim to the upper reaches of rivers through the rapids and was so impressed.
Also I was inspired by the poem of Robert Burns «Comin' Thro' the Rye» and visualised my idea of surrealistic swimming through the field of rye.
It was a pleasure to create this animations. Here is the result and parts of a process.
