Another interesting project for Machete band- triple album visualization, called "Machete Karmalogic".
Karmalogic- it's a techno music, created by a duo of a famous ukrainian psychologist Aleksei Sitnikov and Machete band. Music has 3 parts with different mood, but it also has one global idea: to tell people what they need to be happy.

At the beginning, my big friend Ilya created an album cover with all this nice snakes in a background and well-looking typography. Then, my job was to animate it for promo in social networks and also to release the whole 3 parts of the album in YouTube with my visualization: client wanted to make it alive and look dope enough.
I decided to make it all in Cinema 4D and Octane render to get it look as real as possible. I think, I did the job done:

I got only vector logo of Machete band, so I created 3d model of it by myself. Then, I used Element 3d in After Effects to animate it.
To create a snake skin material, I found a free normal map of it in internet + I used a random snake skin image (thanks to Google Images).

The result was so great, client approved it very fast. So, we continued to add some details to it. I created at least 10 different versions of a final look: the hardest was to make it look like loop. I failed with that, so I tried to hide start/end with some light leaks and sparks.

It looks so dope and dynamic. Also, it all fits perfect with the whole mood and music...but, the client wanted to make it a lot slower and calm (why? I don't know)
After some changes, client approved the final result, which you can see below. Album has 3 parts, so we made it in 3 different colors to separate it visually.
