Sugar in Cereals Instagram Swipe-Through
Completed during the residency weekend hosted by MICA for all MPS students, this short-but-sweet project considered how much sugar the average serving of cereal has both by brand and by shelf in US supermarkets.
Why shelves, you ask? Well, it's no secret to marketers that big brands pay a lot of money to have their products placed at eye level on certain shelves. I wanted to investigate whether there was a correlation between sugar and the age demographic for which each shelf is most visible. Unsurprisingly, there definitely is.
I chose a minimal yet bold colour palette based on primary colours found in each respective brand's logo.
